To develop a sexual health education video, we worked with national and local experts and advisors to identify high-priority skill sets. Based on these expertise and insights, we created an initial 50-item priority list. From there, we honed the list to 22 skill sets. The list reflected trends and the perspectives of those in the field.
After piloting the new video, the researchers surveyed the educators and conducted in-person interviews to assess their use of the new tool. The results of these interviews indicated that the program was well-received by educators. On average, each educator used the site for 88 minutes between Lesson 1 and Lesson 2. Most educators viewed all videos at least once. On a 7-point Likert scale, the educators gave SkillFlix a mean score of 6.9 for the ease of use.
